The CA Asian Pacific Islander Legislative Caucus Applauds the U.S. Department of Labor for Taking Action Against a Silicon Valley Software Company Accused of Systematically Discriminating Against Asian Job Applicants

The U.S. Department of Labor has filed a lawsuit accusing Palantir Technologies, a Silicon Valley software company of systematically discriminating against Asian job applicants in its hiring practices. The company produces data analytics software used by U.S. military, intelligence and law enforcement agencies, along with banks, insurance companies and other non-government clients.

California Asian and Pacific Islander Legislative Caucus Selects Assemblymember Rob Bonta to Lead

The Asian and Pacific Islander Legislative Caucus announced its selection of Assemblymember Rob Bonta (D-Oakland) to lead the Caucus, effective today. In 2012, history was made when Bonta became the first and only Filipino American ever elected to the California State Legislature in the state’s 165-year history.  His selection as API Caucus Chair is another historic first.
